ACCOMMODATION
The accommodation comprises of a saloon and adjoining dining area. There are two double and two twin staterooms for ten guests. All cabins have en-suite facilities. There is a double cabin forward and a single aft cabin for a total of three crew.
On the lower deck forward is the owner’s cabin which is very nice for a yacht this size.
Fully ensuite and also a walk in wardrobe.
Aft of the owner’s suite is the large VIP cabin which is also ensuite. Both cabins have Flatscreen TV, DVD player and stereo w/CD.
Going downstairs from the saloon, there are two twin cabins each equipped with Pullman bunks. Both cabins are equipped with TV, DVD and stereo CD.
MAIN DECK
Upon entering the saloon from the aft deck, you come into a very nice area for relaxing and dining. There is a sofa on the port side with a bar to starboard. Forward of this is the dining area. Going forward, there is a day head to port followed by the galley and bridge.
UPPER DECK
The upper deck is large and spacious. There is a flybridge forward. The whole area is covered with a bimini top. There is an adjustable dining table for 8, BBQ, sink and refrigerator.

Vendredi 14 septembre 2012 à 11 heures, M. Eric Ciotti, Député, Président du Conseil général des Alpes-Maritimes, présentera la 3ème édition des « Régates de Nice », en présence de M. Jean Lassauque, Président du comité départemental Voile Azur 06.
A l’initiative du Conseil général des Alpes-Maritimes, organisées par le Comité Départemental de Voile Azur avec le soutien du Club nautique de Nice et l'aide de la CCI, les « Régates de Nice » crées en 1879, renaissent depuis 2008 tous les deux ans dans la Baie des Anges.
Du 17 au 23 septembre, entre 10 heures et 17 heures, ce rendez-vous de prestige permettra à la population de découvrir des voiliers d’exception et de rencontrer la trentaine d’équipages engagés. De nombreuses animations musicales et culturelles sont prévues au village qui sera situé quai Entrecasteaux.
Rappelons qu’à partir du jeudi 13 septembre 2012, le public pourra réserver gratuitement, sur le site du Conseil général, des places à bord des deux vedettes qui suivront la régate du 22 septembre.

Du 19 au 23 septembre 2012, à l’initiative du Conseil général des Alpes-Maritimes, les « Régates de Nice » qui ont fait l’histoire du port de Nice dès 1879 et, sur le plan international à partir de 1886, reviennent dans la Baie des Anges pour la 4ème édition.
A cette occasion, M. Eric Ciotti, Député, Président du Conseil général des Alpes-Maritimes, a souhaité convier l’ensemble de la population à participer aux nombreuses animations et activités organisées autour de cet événement nautique qui réunira 26 voiliers de tradition et d’époque.

Vendredi 21 septembre 2012 à 11 heures, M. Eric Ciotti, Député, Président du Conseil général, participera à la sortie en mer organisée à l’occasion de la seconde manche des Régates de Nice, en présence des élèves du collège Roland Garros.
Créées une toute première fois en 1879, les Régates de Nice renaissent de leurs cendres en 2008, grâce aux efforts conjugués du Conseil général des Alpes-Maritimes et du Comité Départemental de Voile Azur.
Ce rendez-vous de prestige qui réunit parmi les plus beaux voiliers de tradition permettra aux 26 équipages engagés dans cette compétition de s’affronter en Baie des Anges, à partir du 20 septembre. Notons cette année, la présence exceptionnelle de Manitou ou encore de Pen Duick, du regretté Eric Tabarly. Rappelons que grâce au Conseil général des Alpes-Maritimes, de nombreux collégiens sortiront en mer et 800 personnes embarqueront le samedi à bord des navires de Trans Côte d’Azur pour suivre les Régates en Baie de Nice.

Eric Ciotti, Député, Président du Conseil général des Alpes-Maritimes, lors d’une cérémonie qui clôturera la 3ème édition des Régates de Nice, remettra des récompenses aux meilleurs équipages, en présence de MM. Bernard Kleynhoff, Président de la Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie Nice Côte d’Azur, de Jean Lassauque, Président du Comité Départemental Voile Azur 06.
Ce rendez-vous de prestige a réuni les plus beaux voiliers de traditions, parmi lesquels 26 équipages se sont engagés dans cette compétition en Baie des Anges.
Rappelons que ce samedi des sorties en mer grand public sont prévues à bord de Trans Côte d’Azur à 11h15, 11h50, 12h40, 13h20 et 14h05. Environ 800 personnes embarqueront grâce au Conseil général pour suivre la 3ème manche des régates.
Dimanche 23 septembre 2012, à partir de 10h30, les voiliers prendront la mer en direction de Cannes pour le départ des Régates Royales. Un spécialiste commentera cette course.

Welcome to another exciting edition of our Summertime Monaco Yacht Show. Ithing it gets better each year, as does the quality of the show that my team work so hard, year-round, to stage.
September sees the show set to welcome an even broader base of visitors many of who have the wherewithal to buy. In the past these discerning clientele may ont have been aware just what a spectacle awaits them inside Port Hercules where superyachts dock to show visitors their magnificence. Shipyards, brokerage houses, designers and interior suppliers all have stands and that makes the visit the complete superyacht shopping experience unavailable anywhere else in the world.
The show has become grander and even more luxurious in the facilities. New this year in the Upper Deck Lounge a welcoming area set aside, catering to the most prestigious of Monaco Yacht Show visitors. Overlooking the harbour it offers facilities for hosting discreet meetings, with a Champagne bar and restaurant that allows those who need to carry on business discussions or more informal meetings all day long...

26 yachts, including 4 making their world premiere.
Benetti has launched the Design Innovation project, inviting the best designers in the world to make proposals for the design of megayachts in the future.
Fraser Yachts confirms its role as number one brokerage company in the world for megayachts sales over 24 meters.
After a positive start at the September boat shows of Cannes and Monaco, both of which encouraging from a commercial point of view, primarily for the Megayachts business line, and despite the evident slump in the Italian market, the Group will be present in Genoa with all its brands and various ranges. Indeed, it will be the builder with the highest number of motor boats on show exceeding 10 metres. In fact the relationship between the Azimut Benetti Group and the Genoa Boat show is so tight that since 52 years it is a point of reference and source of inspiration.
On land and in the water, the Azimut Benetti Group will occupy an exhibition area of almost 4,000 square metres. It will be possible to visit 26 boats on three stands, including 4 being given their world premiere here, joining the other 4 presented at the start of the season.
Motor boat enthusiasts will be able to choose from a wide range of types: open and flybridge boats, eco-friendly or displacement vessels.
Starting with the Atlantis open range, with the Atlantis 34 which enjoyed great
success in Cannes and Barcelona, for the market sector it addresses: this boat offers careful interior design details and prestigious materials while slotting into a highly competitive price band.
The 4 new launches at Genoa are the eagerly-awaited Azimut 54 and Azimut 84,
developed from the positive experience of the Azimut 53 and Azimut 82, which
introduce some major innovations in terms of layout and style. Then there is the
Magellano 43 which will be present either in its flybridge version, already presented in Cannes boat show and in the very new Hard Top version. This configuration is particularly well-suited to those who enjoy sailing in both inland waters and the sea.
The Hard Top version is a winner too for all those who want to cruise in the sun and open air, thanks to the 4 glazed panels in the hard top, two of which can be opened, and which provide a pleasant contact with the open air, the sun and the surrounding fragrances.
The Magellano collection will include, not only this entry-level model, but also the new Magellano 76, which proposes the strength points of the first model bearing the great navigator’s name, adding new dimensions: a layout offering four cabins - one of which is multi-purpose - and four bathrooms.

Award and Best Layout & Interior Award 2012 will be on display as well.
Immediately after Genoa, the Azimut Benetti Group will be present at the first US boat show of the season in Fort Lauderdale at the end of October, where, here too it will be in force with another 20 yachts on show.

The Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) is considered the world’s most prestigious superyachting event with the exhibition of 500 major yachting companies, 103 super & megayachts afloat and 26 luxury tenders.
30,000 professional and private participants are expected at the 22nd edition. The MYS is the world’s most awaited superyacht rendezvous for the professionals of the industry, the entrepreneurs, the savvy yacht owners, their agents and a high-worth clientele for four days of meetings and viewings.

We find the most famous names in yacht design with Philippe Briand (who notably designed the exceptional sailing yacht Vertigo, this year at the show), Claydon Reeves who unveils EXO, new concept of sailing yacht in collaboration with Dykstra Naval Architects. Dubois Naval Architects exhibits Mondango (via Dubois Yachts) and showcases the project of a 101-metres sailing yacht on its stand.
The superyachts
Afloat, they are 103 superyachts exhibited by the brokerage houses and the shipyards. The leading agencies present their most outstanding fleets with a total number of 52 units for 35 brokers (data collected on Sep. 15, 2012). In addition to this offering, 26 luxury tenders are unveiled by their producers at the Monte Carlo
Tender Show (quai Jarlan).
World TOP 20 of shipyards
The shipyards are the 2nd segment the most represented at the MYS (74 companies).
If they represent a total of 17 nations, 4 shipyards out of 5 are ranked in the TOP 10 of the building nations. We can distinguish a majority of shipyards from Italy (20), Holland (11) or Germany (7). A predominance of the Euro Zone compared with the Northern-American Zone – that presents only 5 shipyards in Monaco while the USA are the 2nd building nation – simply explained by a business more focussed in their inner geographical area.
De facto, the participation of the greatest shipyards grants a high quality of the exhibition afloat : 16 shipyards are ranked in the world TOP 20 (source : SuperyachtNews.com).
A strong presence of the leading yards which are members of SYBAss (Superyacht Builders Association) for most of them. SYBAss exists to serve and represent the common interests of well-established shipyards with a track record of having built and succesfully delivered at least three custom or semi-custom yachts above 40 metres in length over the last 10 years.

3. A luxury event for a high-net-worth clientele
In an article published in the 2012 Summer magazine of the MYS, Jonathan Beckett, CEO of Burgess Yachts advanced: “For many, a superyacht is probably the highest value single asset they (the rich clients) will ever buy and is influenced by a complex combination of factors including the financial and investment aspects as well as the emotional and lifestyle elements. Providing expert professional advice is at hand, owning a superyacht can be one of the most rewarding experiences that comes with the privilege of great wealth.”
That was enough to convince the luxury brands to identify superyachting as one of the most obvious niches to reach a ultra high-net-worth clientele.
The manufacturers of luxury goods have been working with shipyards for years, making bespoke products from the scarcest materials to meet the demanding requests by the owners. Making superyachting become an art of life that renowned brands like the French crystal-maker Baccarat have integrated, following the yacht owners in every environment they live.

4. Four days (& nights) of events.
The success of the Monaco Yacht Show is notably due to the concentration in one spot, every year, of the CEOs of the major yacht companies, the best equipment manufacturers, the captains and their crews, lots of potential new buyers and owners on the docks of one of the world’s most glamorous ports.
Around 80 events are organised by the exhibitors during the show. « Green Star class » award RINA, the Italian company for ship registry, associates to the Monaco Yacht Show to deliver the 2012 « Green Star class » to the yacht that meets strict environmental requirements.
For 2012, two yachts receive this certification: Better Place and Aslec 4.
Bearing the distinctive Bugatti blue on her exterior lines, Better Place is first the world’s largest carbon-fibre sloop ever built. She’s also the first sailing yacht to meet the environmental requirements of RINA’s Green Star class (50.5-m sloop delivered by Wally in 2012).
Aslec 4 (45-m motoryacht, 2012 by Rossinavi) is this new generation of yachts that embrace today’s priorities: environmental respect, economic performance and considerable space without unnecessary bulk.
Aslec 4 is the second yacht by Rossinavi shipyard to receive the Green Star Class certification, after M/Y Numptia at last year’s show.

The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation: the Wood Forever Pact
If the Monaco Yacht Show is committed to supporting environmental projects since
2005, the show naturally decided to get more involved in to actions led by the Principality and associated to the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation in 2010 with a new project: increasing the yachting community awareness of the deforestation issue. This is the Wood Forever Pact. At the occasion of HSH Prince Albert II’s visit of the 22nd Monaco Yacht Show, the show organisers donate EUR 42,000 to the Foundation.
The money will be used to better educate those involved in the yachting that only wood certified as originating from sustainably managed forests should be used in construction, if deforestation is to be halted.
Interview of Philippe Mondielli, Scientific Director for the Foundation.
MYS: Philippe Mondielli, can you briefly tell us about the Prince Albert II
Foundation?
Philippe Mondielli: The Foundation was created in 2006 by HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco, determined that his reign should be one of environmental protection.?The Foundation's main fields of action are biodiversity protection, combating climate change, and access to water.
MYS: Why is the Foundation interested in the yachting business?
PM: Culturally and historically, the Principality of Monaco has always had close ties with the sea and naturally wants to achieve coherence between its international work and the Principality's business activities. Since 2010 we have been partners in the Monaco Yacht Show.
While the yachting industry has already done much to limit energy consumption and the use of pollutants, we find there is a big knowledge gap as regards the origin of much of the timber used in yacht building.
MYS: Can you say more about that?
PM: The species used – teak, mahogany, ebony etc. – are selected for their technical, mechanical and aesthetic properties. These tropical woods are used for decks and exterior fittings, interior decor and furniture. In recent years and in many countries, the wood products story has often involved illegal logging and deforestation by players who take no responsibility for their actions. That is why the Foundation and its technical partners launched the Wood Forever programme.
MYS: What is the Wood Forever programme?
PM: Wood Forever is a program dedicated to combating deforestation worldwide. We aim to make those involved in yachting aware that if deforestation is to be halted, only wood certified as originating from sustainably managed forests should be used in construction.
Wood Forever offers companies the opportunity to learn the real story behind their timber and make an informed choice to change the product story of the wood used in yacht building.
Wood Forever is a viable solution that boat builders should seriously envisage in response to increasingly eco-aware demand from customers and in preparation for the new European regulations due to come into force next year.
MYS: European regulations?
PM: The use of teak and other tropical woods is under increasing pressure, both from governments (with increasingly strict importation laws such as the Lacey Act in the US and recent European legislation) and from clients who prefer to work with traceable, ethical products whose use will not harm the environment. From March 2013, European importers must be able to prove the legal origin of their timber.
MYS: What is the financial impact for a company wishing to join Wood Forever?
PM : Our technical partner The Forest Trust conducts a study of the company's wood supplies, tracking back to source to make sure the timber has been logged sustainably. This mapping exercise costs €12,500. Neither the Foundation nor The Forest Trust make any profits from this.
MYS: Why join Wood Forever?
PM : Becoming a member of the Wood Forever program means making a commitment to an environmentally and socially responsible approach to sourcing your wood products. The Foundation and The Forest Trust help Wood Forever's member companies to map their supply chain and analyse the associated risks.
Together we have the means to write a new, virtuous narrative for the story of the wood used in the yachting industry.

Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy is a rare genetic illness that affects boys: one birth in 3,500.
Although research has progressed significantly over the last ten years, notably with the tremendous gains in genetic therapy and thanks to the efforts of charity organisations, there remains a lot to do in order to find a cure for these children.
Created by parents of children suffering from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy who decided to support progress on scientific and medical research.
The Monaco Yacht Show supports the AMM by giving a financial donation every year and co-organising the Only Watch biannual auction, of which 100% of the funds collected are given to the charity.

1. Présentation
Le Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) est considéré comme le plus prestigieux salon de grande plaisance au monde avec l’exposition sur stands de 500 sociétés majeures du yachting, de 103 super & megayachts à flot et de 26 tenders de luxe.
30 000 participants professionnels et privés sont attendus au salon pour sa 22ème édition. Le MYS est le rendez-vous du superyachting le plus attendu de l’année pour les professionnels du secteur, les capitaines d’industrie, les propriétaires de yacht, leurs représentants et une clientèle fortunée internationale pour quatre jours de rencontres et de visites.
Les plus grands chantiers et architectes navals, les principales agences de brokerage et les meilleurs équipementiers du secteur y exposent leurs derniers produits de haute technologie, leurs services haut de gamme et les projets de superyachts des prochaines années.
Centre d’affaires international du superyachting
Un véritable centre d’affaires international du superyachting mettant en relations les professionnels des secteurs du yachting et du luxe sur les 500 stands d’exposition.
37 nationalités sont représentées parmi lesquelles les premières nations de la grande plaisance : Royaume-Uni (84 exposants), Italie (73), France (66), Pays-Bas (55), Allemagne (44) ou Etats-Unis (33).
Les sociétés de yachting les plus importantes au monde exposent leurs produits et services haut de gamme. Le secteur des équipementiers constitue logiquement la plus grande représentation de sociétés au MYS (37%) puisqu’il regroupe une très large gamme de produits et services (instruments de navigation, peintures marines, générateurs, construction de pontons, ancres marines, gréements, mats, spas, conversion de puissance, vitres…) De même pour le secteur des services (13%), représenté par les sociétés d’assurances, de services de financement de yachts, les ports & marinas, les gestions d’équipages, certifications de yacht, transports de yachts…
2. Les exposants du yachting
La Galerie des designers
Une zone d’exposition spéciale leur est réservée sur le salon, la « Designers’ Gallery » (voir plan).
On y retrouve les plus grands noms du design de yachts parmi lesquels le célèbre cabinet Philippe Briand Ltd (à qui l’on doit notamment le superbe voilier Vertigo exposé au MYS 2012), Claydon Reeves qui dévoile cette année EXO, son nouveau concept de voilier en collaboration avec Dykstra Naval Architects. Dubois Naval Architects qui expose Mondango (via Dubois Yachts) au salon et présente un projet de voilier de 101 mètres sur son stand.
Les yachts à flot
A flot, ce sont 103 superyachts exposés par les agences de brokerage et les chantiers navals. Les plus grandes agences dévoilent leur plus belle vitrine de superyachts avec un total de 52 unités à flot pour 35 agences participantes (données collectées au 15 septembre 2012). En complément de cette offre, 26 tenders de luxe sont exposés par leur fabricant au Monte Carlo Tender Show (quai Jarlan du MYS).
Le TOP 20 mondial des chantiers navals
Les chantiers navals composent le 2ème secteur le plus représenté au MYS (74 sociétés). S’ils représentent un total de 17 nations, 4 chantiers sur 5 proviennent du TOP 10 des pays leaders. On distingue une majorité de chantiers italiens (20), hollandais (11) ou allemands (7). Une prédominance de la zone Europe en contrebalance avec la zone Etats-Unis - qui ne présente que 5 chantiers à Monaco et pourtant 2ème constructeur mondial - expliquée tout simplement par l’activité concentrée des américains sur leur propre territoire.
De facto, la participation des chantiers navals les plus puissants assure la qualité de l’exposition à flot : 16 chantiers navals font partie du TOP 20 mondial (source : SuperyachtNews.com)
Une présence en force des chantiers navals leaders dont la plupart est regroupée sous l’entité SYBAss (Superyacht Builders Association). L’association réunit exclusivement les chantiers navals spécialisés dans les unités à partir de 40 mètres de longueur (pour s’assurer de la qualité et la viabilité de ses membres, ils doivent avoir livré au minimum trois superyachts d’au moins 40 mètres ces dix dernières années).

3. Un évènement de luxe pour la clientèle haut de gamme
Dans un article paru dans le magazine été 2012 du MYS, Jonathan Beckett, PDG de Burgess Yachts s’exprimait ainsi : «Pour beaucoup, un superyacht est probablement le bien de plus grande valeur qu’ils (ndr : les clients fortunés) n’achèteront jamais et cet achat est influencé par une combinaison complexe de facteurs y compris les aspects financiers et d'investissements ainsi que les éléments émotionnels et de style de vie. A condition de bénéficier de conseils professionnels avisés, être propriétaire d’un superyacht peut être une des expériences les plus gratifiantes qui va de paire avec le privilège d'être fortuné. »
Il n’en fallait pas plus pour convaincre les marques de luxe d’identifier la grande plaisance comme une des niches les plus évidentes pour toucher une clientèle ultrafortunée.
Si des fabricants haut de gamme collaborent depuis plusieurs années avec les chantiers sur la confection de produits sur mesure avec les matériaux les plus rares pour répondre aux exigences des acheteurs, le superyachting est devenu un art de vivre que de grandes marques comme la maison de cristallerie Française Baccarat ont intégré et qui accompagnent aujourd’hui les propriétaires de yachts dans leur univers.

Gaëlle Tallarida, Directrice Générale du MYS : “Nous avons réellement conscience que le MYS est devenu un événement que beaucoup de sociétés de yachting ne peuvent se permettre de manquer. L’Upper Deck Lounge (en référence à la localisation surélevée de la tente Parvis Piscine par rapport aux autres zones d’exposition avec un clin d’oeil aux ponts des yachts) propose trois espaces d’accueil dans l’environnement luxueux des partenaires de la manifestation : une zone de salons privatifs pour organiser les rendez-vous professionnels (service gratuit uniquement proposé aux exposants avec accès Wifi), un lounge/bar à champagne et le restaurant officiel du MYS.
Baccarat s’est d’ailleurs associé au décorateur d’intérieur Sabrina Monte-Carlo (qui travaille régulièrement sur l’aménagement de yachts avec le mobilier d’extérieur de luxe du designer Italien Paola Lenti) pour aménager ce tout nouvel espace d’accueil VIP en plein coeur du salon.

La remise du certificat « Green Star class ».
En association avec la société de classification italienne RINA (Registro Italiano Navale), le Monaco Yacht Show remet le certificat «Green Star class » 2012 aux yachts Better Place et Aslec 4 pour récompenser leur construction qui a suivi des normes écologiques strictes, établies par des règles internationales sur la protection de l’environnement.
Avec une longueur de 50,50 m, Better Place (livré en 2012 par Wally) est le plus grand sloop en fibres de carbone jamais construit au monde et le premier voilier développé selon les réglementations de RINA.
Aslec 4 (Chantier italien Rossinavi, 45 m, livraison 2012, exposé par Edmiston & Cie) fait partie de cette nouvelle génération de yachts qui prend en compte les priorités d’aujourd’hui: respect de l’environnement, des performances techniques économiques et de grands espaces sans pour autant nécessiter d’importants volumes. A noter que Aslec 4 est le deuxième yacht du chantier Italien Rossinavi à recevoir la certification Green Star class après le yacht Numptia l’an dernier.
5. Les engagements sociétaux du MYS
La Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco : le pacte Wood Forever Si le Monaco Yacht Show est engagé sur des projets environnementaux depuis 2005, le salon décidait de se rapprocher naturellement vers les actions menées par la Principauté et s’associe en 2010 à la Fondation Albert II de Monaco pour soulever le problème de la déforestation auprès de la communauté du yachting. C’est le pacte Wood Forever.
A l’occasion de la visite officielle de S.A.S le Prince Albert II de Monaco au 22ème Monaco Yacht Show, les organisateurs du salon remettent un don de 42 000 EUR à la Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco.
Les fonds collectés permettront de développer un projet d’audit et de sensibilisation des chantiers navals sur l’utilisation certifiée d’un bois issu de forêts à développement durable.

MYS : Philippe Mondielli, pourriez-vous nous présenter la Fondation Prince
Albert II de Monaco ?
Philippe Mondielli : La Fondation a été créée en 2006 par S.A.S le Prince Albert II de Monaco qui a résolument voulu orienter son règne vers la protection de l’environnement? Les domaines d’actions prioritaires de la Fondation sont la protection de la biodiversité, la lutte contre le changement climatique et l’accès à l’eau.
MYS : pourquoi la Fondation s’intéresse-t-elle au milieu du yachting ?
PM : Culturellement et historiquement, la Principauté de Monaco a toujours été étroitement liée à la mer et cherche naturellement cette cohérence entre ses actions à l’international et les activités en Principauté. Depuis 2010, nous sommes d’ailleurs partenaires du Monaco Yacht Show.
Si beaucoup d’efforts sont déjà entrepris par les industriels de la plaisance pour limiter la consommation d’énergie ou les produits polluants, nous constatons qu’il existe une importante lacune sur la connaissance de l’origine des nombreux bois qui composent la plupart des yachts.
MYS : c’est-à-dire?
PM : Les différentes espèces utilisées à bord sont choisies pour leurs caractéristiques techniques, mécaniques et esthétiques : le teck, l’acajou, l’ébène...
Ces bois tropicaux sont utilisés sur les ponts et les aménagements extérieurs du yacht mais aussi pour les décorations d’intérieur et le mobilier. Depuis plusieurs années et dans beaucoup de pays, la chaîne de production du bois a souvent fait l’objet d’un abattage illégal et d’une déforestation menés par des intervenants irresponsables de leurs actions. C’est pour cette raison que la Fondation et ses partenaires techniques ont lancé le programme Wood Forever.
MYS : Qu’est ce que Wood Forever ?
PM : Wood Forever est un programme de lutte contre la déforestation mondiale.
Notre objectif est de donner une meilleure éducation aux acteurs du yachting, que seul le bois certifié issu de forêts gérées durablement devrait être utilisé dans la construction navale.
Wood Forever propose aux sociétés la possibilité d’analyser la chaîne de production de leurs bois et ainsi avoir le choix de changer sa ligne de production dans la construction de leurs yachts.
Wood Forever permet de répondre au cahier des charges de clients de plus en plus soucieux de l’environnement ou à l’entrée en vigueur de la réglementation européenne l’an prochain.
MYS : La règlementation Européenne ?
PM : L’utilisation du teck et d’autres bois tropicaux est assujettie à une pression de plus en plus forte des gouvernements – avec une législation sur l’importation de plus en plus rigoureuse comme la loi Lacey ou la législation Européenne – et d’une clientèle qui préfère choisir des produits éthiques avec une réelle traçabilité dont l’utilisation ne détruit pas l’environnement. A partir de mars 2013, les importateurs Européens devront prouver l’origine légale de leurs bois.
MYS : Quel est l’impact financier pour la société qui souhaite rejoindre Wood
Forever ?
PM : Une étude des approvisionnements en bois de la société doit être menée par notre partenaire technique The Forest Trust pour remonter les approvisionnements et s’assurer que l’origine du bois est durable. Le coût de cette cartographie est fixé à 12500 euros. Sur cette opération, aucun bénéfice n’est réalisé ni par la Fondation, ni par The Forest Trust.
MYS : Pourquoi devenir membre de Wood Forever ?
PM : Devenir membre du programme Wood Forever signifie s’engager vers une approche environnementale et sociale dans l’achat de bois produits. En s’associant à Wood Forever, la Fondation et The Forest Trust aident les sociétés à établir une cartographie de leur chaîne de production et d’analyser les risques liés. Ensemble, donnons-nous les moyens d’écrire une nouvelle histoire, vertueuse, sur le bois utilisé dans l’industrie du yachting.

L’Association Monégasque contre les Myopathies.
La Myopathie de Duchenne est une maladie génétique rare qui touche les garçons : une naissance sur 3500. Même si la recherche a beaucoup progressé ces dix dernières années, en particulier avec l’explosion de la génétique et grâce à l’action des associations de malades, il reste encore beaucoup à faire pour mettre au point des thérapeutiques qui permettront de guérir ces enfants.
L’AMM a été crée en 2001 par des parents d’enfants atteints de la Myopathie de Duchenne. Sa vocation première : diriger cette pathologie vers une solution thérapeutique et permettre la mise au point rapide d’un médicament.
Le Monaco Yacht Show apporte son soutien à l'AMM en lui reversant un don financier chaque année et en co-organisant la vente aux enchères biannuelle Only Watch, dont l'intégralité des fonds est reversée à l'association.

From 19 to 22 September 2012, 33,000 luxury yachting companies, yacht owners, wealthy customers and representatives of future purchasers converged on Monaco to meet up at the yacht show's 500 stands and aboard the hundred-odd superyachts on show. At last year's show there were signs of an upswing in the market. MYS 2012 confirmed the trend; slowly but surely, business is picking up.

From 19th to 22th April, the Grimaldi Forum will host the 9th edition of " TOP MARQUES MONACO ".
For this year's show, the organisers continue to showcase new and exceptional creations. The extraordinary awaits guests from state-of-the-art cars, limited series watches, rare jewels and bespoke luxury artistry, all united by visionary craftsmanship. I particulary appreciate the support that TOP MARQUES gives to car industry allowing it to continue to showcase pioneering technology such as electric and alternate fuels, producing cleaner and more efficient vehicules.
To the delight of enthusiasts, luxury boats will be presented at the Port of Fonvielle for sea trials and will be on view to the public along the esplanade of the Grimaldi Forum.
Visitors will be privileged to watch the world unveiling of world premieres launches in all fields. This year the show grows even larger and will host even more luxury products and services.

For this ninth edition of Top Marques Monaco which is held from 19 to 22 April 2012 in Monaco at the Grimaldi Forum time, while uncertain at first, was still in the game with a beautiful sun of Spring, who ruled Monte-Carlo.
And it was on this sunny esplanade of the Grimaldi Forum that the opening day of the April 19, 2012 at 11:15 am, was inaugurated by SASérénissime Prince ALBERT II of Monaco in the presence of officials and personalities from the Government of Monaco, this Salon which brings together for the occasion the leading brands of prestige and luxury of Automotive Industries, the Watch, and Jewelry, water sport, recreation and water sports Aeronautics Space.

Toujours plus de séries monotypes… et de l’IRC en nouveauté
Depuis près de 30 ans, toute l’élite européenne de la course au large se donne rendez-vous début février dans les eaux monégasques pour participer à cette première épreuve de la saison de régate en Méditerranée de par le nombre de ses concurrents.
Avec près de 1000 équipiers venant de toute l’Europe et représentant une quinzaine de nationalités, la Primo Cup - Trophée Credit Suisse, organisée par le Yacht Club de Monaco, est l’une des manifestations hivernales les plus importantes d’Europe, qui donne le coup d’envoi de la saison internationale du yachting.
Pour sa 28e édition, la Primo Cup poursuit son développement en accueillant un nombre toujours croissant de séries. Au total, ce sont quinze classes qui viendront croiser dans la baie monégasque, profitant des conditions clémentes en cette période hivernale.
Les séries en lice (avec un minimum de 7 concurrents par catégorie) :
- Du vendredi 3 au dimanche 5 février : Dragon, J/24, Melges20, Surprise, Platu 25, SB3 et Star
- Du vendredi 10 au dimanche 12 février : X35, Melges32, Smeralda 888, Longtze Premier,
Esse 850, J/80, Tofinou & IRC
Aux côtés des monotypes traditionnels de la Primo Cup - Trophée Credit Suisse (Dragon, Surprise, J/24, Smeralda 888), saluons le retour des Star, qui célèbreront leur centième anniversaire en Méditerranée, avec un championnat d’Europe en avril (13-20) à Sanremo et un mondial à Hyères en mai (3-12) 2012 ainsi que celui des SB3, série dynamique en pleine ascension. Preuve en est sa récente désignation comme classe internationale auprès de l’I.S.A.F.
Mais désireux de continuer à évoluer et afin de répondre aux attentes des compétiteurs, le comité de course de la Primo Cup – Trophée Credit Suisse a souhaité ouvrir en 2012 cette épreuve traditionnellement réservée aux monotypes aux habitables jaugés en IRC. Au fil des années, la « Primo » est devenue un véritable banc d’essai pour grand nombre d’architectes et de chantiers, présentant en avant-première, à Monaco, leur bateau en régate, à l’instar des Longtze Premier ou des First Class de Bénéteau. Dès sa création, les organisateurs monégasques ont eu la volonté de soutenir et de promouvoir la régate à haut niveau sur des monotypes mettant tous les équipages à armes égales. Aujourd’hui, la jauge IRC, qui consacre les croiseurs les plus performants où même une unité de série peut concourir contre un prototype, valorise elle aussi le haut niveau à travers ses bateaux.
Une dotation en Or
Alors que ERI, société leader dans le domaine des progiciels bancaires organise sur chacun des deux week-ends une soirée des équipages sous forme de Pasta Party ; le succès de l’épreuve monégasque repose également sur la qualité de sa dotation lors de la remise des prix. Organisée sous la présidence de S.A.S. le Prince Albert II, les trois premiers équipages de chaque série se voient remettre individuellement des vêtements Slam de la ligne Advanced Technology Sportswear. Un chronographe Hublot sera également offert à l’armateur victorieux dans la série connaissant la plus forte participation, sur chacun des deux week-ends. Un lingotin d’or, estimé en novembre 2011 à 3.800 €, sera mis en jeu par le Credit Suisse (Monaco) lors du traditionnel tirage au sort.

Hi all,
It is a fact that all the leisure over recent decades have democratized the most in the whole world, it is certainly that of the Plaisance became arguably the first leisure and hobby of modern humans.
Besides, it n 'there only to see the enthusiasm of a large part of our humanity with respect the appeal of anything related to the sea and its various activities as well as nautical tourism.
Personally I have been fortunate in my lifetime to see the rapid development and scale that are unprecedented Industries to take the water sports in the world of sailing between the second half of last century and the first decade of the twenty-first century.
As against what I have seen with full knowledge of the facts, is that America in the last century had a considerable lead over the rest of the world regarding the field of recreational craft industries and its derivatives, but today it is no longer the case, the world has radically changed with the globalization of international trade, America was caught up and even surpassed since by more than one country in this area of Piacenza.
The Europe woke up and out of its slump after the Apocalypse of the Second World War in the last century, was able to start developing its industries also nautical leisure and launch major shipyards Pleasure both in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, etc ...
Asia has also followed with countries such as Japan, but also South Korea, now China and India are becoming formidable competitors to the West, and that in all industries ...

Ciao a tutti,
E 'un fatto che tutti i turisti negli ultimi decenni hanno democratizzato il più in tutto il mondo, è certamente quello della Plaisance è diventato senza dubbio il primo per il tempo libero e hobby degli esseri umani moderni.
Inoltre, n 'lì solo per vedere l'entusiasmo di gran parte della nostra umanità rispetto l'appello di tutto ciò che riguarda il mare e le sue varie attività così come turismo nautico.
Personalmente ho avuto la fortuna nella mia vita per vedere il rapido sviluppo e la scala che sono Industries senza precedenti a prendere gli sport d'acqua nel mondo della vela tra la seconda metà del secolo scorso e il primo decennio del ventunesimo secolo.
Contro quello che ho visto con cognizione di causa, è che l'America nel secolo scorso ha avuto un considerevole vantaggio sul resto del mondo per quanto riguarda il settore delle industrie delle imbarcazioni da diporto e la sua derivati, ma oggi non è più il caso, il mondo è radicalmente cambiato con la globalizzazione del commercio internazionale, l'America è stato raggiunto e addirittura superato in quanto da più di un paese in questa zona di Piacenza.
L'Europa si svegliò e dalla sua crisi, dopo l'Apocalisse della seconda guerra mondiale nel secolo scorso, fu in grado di iniziare a sviluppare le sue industrie anche al tempo libero nautica da diporto e lanciare grandi cantieri sia in Francia, Germania, Italia, Spagna, ecc ...
Asia ha anche seguito con paesi come il Giappone, ma anche Corea del Sud, ora la Cina e l'India stanno diventando concorrenti formidabili in Occidente, e che in tutti i settori ...
Dal momento che la crisi si è negli ultimi tre anni, ma nonostante questo l'industria nautica sono ancora in corso, ma è vero con ordini riempito un po 'meno, soprattutto nella vendita di imbarcazioni di fascia media, per contro il nautica di lusso continua ad essere così ed i progetti più importanti della cantieristica nel mondo hanno ancora brillante futuro.
Che si può ancora vedere nel comportamento della paglietta media oggi è che risulta più verso una società del tempo libero sottolineando soprattutto la qualità dei prodotti e servizi che può offrire Le imprese e le aziende nel mondo della Plaisance, lasciando da parte ogni inutile in quanto lo considera di utilizzare qualsiasi cosa nei loro bisogni.
In ogni caso la domanda era ancora amplificato notevolmente negli ultimi dieci anni e si vede che questa domanda è in crescita più forte con rispetto piuttosto che la vendita di unità a noleggio, la vela sopra il motore, la colpa a un combustibile fossile più costoso per il diportista.

During the press conference in Milan, Yacht & Sail magazine editor in chief Andrea Brambilla and ADI ( Associazione per il Disegno Industriale) President Luisa Bocchietto announced the winners of the second edition of the Nautical Design Awards.
KIBOKO SW 94 was awarded best Sailing yacht over 24 mt.
“La Giuria ha premiato la risoluzione complessiva, ben bilanciata, sia all’interno, sia all’esterno. Il prodotto, che presenta una cura maniacale dei dettagli, dichiara un’attenzione continua al design, che non scade mai nel puro esercizio di stile. Il progetto rappresenta un eccellente esempio di concezione e realizzazione di yacht finalizzato a navigare veramente; risultato non sempre raggiunto da altre imbarcazioni di questa taglia e di questo livello di finiture”.

The product, that shows a maniacal care to details, is the expression of a design which is never a style exercise. While CEO Willy Persico was collecting the prize at Sevenstars Hotel gala dinner in Milan, in Johannesburg, on the same day, Marco Alberti, General Manager of the yard, took part in another renowned event, the Business Excellence Award, organized by the Italian-South African Chamber of Trade and Industries. Marco Alberti received the HONORARY CHAIRPERSON’S SPECIAL AWARD.

Située entre les plages privées du Sporting et du Lido faisant face au Palais de la Méditerranée sur la mythique Promenades des Anglais, l’Ecole de ski nautique et de parachute ascensionnel « RIVIERA WATER SPORTS » est la dernière des quatre écoles de sports nautiques a être restée encore ouverte cette première semaine d’octobre 2011 grâce au prolongement d’un été indien qui n’en finit plus de durer.
Son sympathique et dynamique « Patron » et animateur sportif de l’école « Thierry » et son adjoint « Lionel » nous accueillent gentiment pour nous parler de leur saison sportive qui doit finir en principe cette première semaine d’octobre :
« Nous avons fait une saison assez courte et fort modeste pratiquement à cause du mauvais temps qu’il a fait jusqu’à fin juillet, ce qui a réduit nos activités sportives et nautiques à deux mois à peine au lieu normalement de quatre mois comme chaque été ( de juin à septembre ). De toute manière ce n’est plus comme avant, les saisons sont de plus en plus courtes et les gens, essentiellement des touristes, n’ont plus trop d’argent à dépenser dans les loisirs au vu d’une crise économique qui touche pratiquement Monsieur tout le monde, bien que la ville de Nice soit l’une des première destinations touristiques de la Côte d’Azur grâce à la proximité de son aéroport international, le deuxième de France. »
Cette école de parachute ascensionnel et de ski nautique possède deux supers bateaux « Ski Nautique » de marque américaine Correct Craft équipés de moteur inboard de 330 cv chacun ce qui permet de tracter un , voir deux ou trois parachutistes ascensionnels en même temps, mais aussi de tracter un ou plusieurs skieurs nautiques, des bouées sonar/stealth avec un ou plusieurs passagers, un air stream, etc…
Chaque rotation successive de tractage en parachute ascensionnel est d’une durée d’environ 10 minutes, pour un tour en ski nautique le circuit étant de même durée, sauf si le client « sportif » veut prolonger son temps sur ses skis ou son monoski, mais le tarif ne sera plus le même.
L’équipe en pleine saison tourne avec cinq salariés à plein temps, tous étant des « monos » brevetés d’état « moniteur parachutiste ascensionnel » , « moniteur-pilote de ski nautique et de parachutisme », etc…
Le centre de sports nautiques possède six parachutes ascensionnels professionnels avec harnais pour une personne, deux personnes et allant jusqu'à trois personnes; ainsi que toute une batterie de « KAYAK » à une ou deux places qu’on peut louer à l’heure, à la demi-journée ou à la journée complète à des prix forts raisonnables, voir modestes.

Il ministro Matteoli ha aperto oggi alla Fiera di Genova il 51° Salone Nautico Internazionale: “Dai nuovi Piani regolatori portuali 40 mila nuovi posti barca e 10 mila posti di lavoro”
Armella: “Il Salone più grande e importante al mondo, Fiera impegnata nel rilancio”
“Battiamo bandiera italiana”, Albertoni presenta la campagna di Ucina
Il ministro delle Infrastrutture e Trasporti, senatore Altero Matteoli, ha aperto oggi la cinquantunesima edizione del Salone Nautico Internazionale, in programma alla Fiera di Genova fino a domenica 9 ottobre.
Giunto in quartiere a bordo di una motovedetta della Capitaneria di Porto – Guardia Costiera, il ministro è stato ricevuto dai vertici di Fiera e Ucina, ha passato in rassegna il picchetto d’onore e ha assistito alla cerimonia dell’alzabandiera.
Nella sala Liguria di Fieracongressi si sono poi tenuti i discorsi inaugurali.
La presidente di Fiera di Genova SpA Sara Armella, al suo primo Salone, ha voluto ringraziare imprese, e lavoratori che hanno contribuito a fare del Nautico di Genova “il più grande e importante al mondo”.
“Il nostro obiettivo per quest’anno è stato rafforzare ancora di più la valenza business della manifestazione, aprire il Salone a nuovi canali di business e integrarlo sempre di più con la città, per avvicinare al Salone e alla cultura del mare un numero sempre più ampio di persone” ha proseguito la Armella.
Per quanto riguarda il futuro la presidente ha sottolineato la volontà della società di programmare il rilancio, che avverrà anche attraverso un nuovo piano industriale “che vedrà al centro l’offerta fieristica, a cominciare da punti forti come il Nautico ed Euroflora”, ma che immagina anche una progettualità futura rivolta a settori come lo shipping, la logistica e le nuove tecnologie.
“Stiamo già lavorando alla realizzazione del nuovo portale di Levante e per migliorare la funzionalità dell’area congressuale, fattore strategico dell’attività fieristica” secondo la Armella.
Per la Fiera resta strategica la gestione della Nuova Darsena, in cui è convinta di poter fornire “un contributo importante, in coordinamento con l’Autorità Portuale”, ma l’azienda intende riposizionarsi anche nell’offerta di spazi per lo sport, la cultura e il tempo libero per la città è il territorio.
Ucina, l’associazione di categoria che riunisce gli imprenditori della nautica italiana, ha lanciato la campagna “Battiamo bandiera italiana”: un semplice slogan che rivendica l’orgoglio di appartenenza ad un settore troppo spesso oggetto di attacchi ingiustificati e strumentali.
La campagna vuole sottolineare l’importanza di un’industria che significa occupazione (90.000 posti di lavoro diretti), contributo al PIL (il comparto vanta il moltiplicatore di reddito più alto dell’industria, sia dal punto di vista della redditività che in termini di occupazione), export (è la quinta forza del Paese), gettito fiscale, know how e competenze specialistiche di assoluto livello riconosciute in tutto il mondo.
La campagna “Battiamo bandiera italiana” è il file rouge che attraverserà questa edizione della rassegna genovese, richiamando i propri messaggi nei percorsi tra un’area e l’altra e negli stand degli espositori.
“Battiamo Bandiera Italiana perché siamo un settore dell’eccellenza manifatturiera del nostro Paese, uno dei pochi che ancora produce qui e che quindi dobbiamo fare di tutto per difendere” ha dichiarato Anton Francesco Albertoni, presidente di UCINA, che ha proseguito "Battiamo Bandiera Italiana perché i diportisti continuino a scegliere il tricolore sulla poppa delle loro barche come gesto di orgoglio e appartenenza. Non vogliamo essere costretti a trasferire la nostra produzione all’estero, ma per evitarlo abbiamo bisogno che il Governo continui ad ascoltare le nostre istanze, che sono soprattutto provvedimenti normativi necessari a rilanciare la competitività del comparto”, ha concluso Albertoni.
Il presidente della Provincia di Genova, Alessandro Repetto, ha elogiato il Salone Nautico Internazionale, evento che negli anni ha contribuito a far crescere la cultura per il mare grazie anche alla sinergia virtuosa fra Fiera e Ucina. Il Salone di Genova non solo è il più grande “ma è anche il più bello al mondo, lasciatemelo dire” ha ribadito Repetto, sottolineando il ruolo di aggregazione del settore marittimo realizzato dalla manifestazione.
Repetto ha invocato la ricostituzione del ministero della Marina Mercantile, per dare un nuovo impulso alla politica del paese nell’economia marittima e ha ringraziato Fiera e a tutti gli operatori della nautica, rappresentati da Ucina, per il coraggio dimostrato nel continuare a investire nella promozione del settore.
La sindaco di Genova Marta Vincenzi ha parlato di “miracolo in blu” per descrivere un salone che nonostante la crisi continua a rappresentare un’eccellenza della città. Il blu è il colore “della gioia e della speranza” secondo la sindaco che ha chiuso chiedendo un forte impegno per sostenere il settore e favorirne la coesione.
Il presidente della Regione Liguria, Claudio Burlando, ha esordito rivolgendo un saluto ai nuovi vertici di Fiera di Genova Spa, impegnati nel rilancio in un momento complesso, per poi ribadire l’importanza della Liguria nel settore della logistica: “Il 60% della merce italiana viene movimentata nella nostra regione”, territorio in cui il cluster marittimo non ha eguali.
Il ministro delle Infrastrutture e Trasporti Altero Matteoli, giunto a Genova per l’apertura di una manifestazione “prestigiosa e storicamente consolidata”, ha definito il Salone “un’occasione irrinunciabile di incontro con gli operatori di un comparto che ha raggiunto negli anni alti livelli qualitativi”.
La nautica italiana, sistema produttivo che interessa più di 150 mila famiglie e genera un fatturato che contribuisce al Pil per 5,5 miliardi di euro, ha resistito meglio degli altri settori alla crisi globale secondo Matteoli, che si è poi soffermato sugli ultimi provvedimenti del Governo per sostenere il comparto.
In occasione della conversione in legge del decreto sulle disposizioni urgenti per l’economia, Matteoli ha annunciato che in fase di predisposizione dei Piani regolatori portuali verrà previsto l’obbligo di destinare aree sottoutilizzate o non destinate a funzioni portuali alla realizzazione di approdi turistici: le stime per questo intervento parlano di un incremento di posti barca di 40 mila unità, la creazione di 10 mila posti di lavoro e un gettito per l’erario previsto di oltre dieci milioni di euro.
Altro provvedimento di rilievo è stato l’approvazione di un’importante modifica del Codice della nautica che ha esteso la sua applicazione alla navigazione da diporto esercitata per fini commerciali con navi destinate esclusivamente al noleggio per finalità turistiche, alleggerendo il regime amministrativo di queste.
Il ministro ha ricordato il prossimo completamento del processo di informatizzazione del sistema dei registri delle imbarcazioni e delle navi e la partenza a breve della sperimentazione per il rilascio della patente nautica attraverso un esame a quiz, con cui si potrà iniziare a familiarizzare proprio in Salone, nello stand delle Capitanerie di Porto.
All’inaugurazione erano presenti anche il sottosegretario alla Semplificazione normativa, Francesco Belsito oltre a diversi rappresentanti di spicco del mondo istituzionale e imprenditoriale.
Nel pomeriggio in Salone è stata presentata la squadra della Pro Recco di pallanuoto, il club italiano più titolato.
Gli appuntamenti di domani, domenica 2 ottobre
Domani mattina alle 10.30 inaugurazione simbolica – dopo il bagno di folla di stamani con il Ministro Matteoli – della mostra dedicata al 150° dell’Unità d’Italia “Dalla spedizione dei mille al Salone Nautico: 150 anni di imprese sul mare”. Farà seguito una conversazione con il giornalista e velista Piero Ottone, il presidente della Regione Liguria Claudio Burlando, l’architetto Giorgio Oikonomoy e il professor Ferdinando Fasce.
Alle 11 è previsto l’arrivo in Salone del Vicepresidente del Senato Rosy Mauro.
Il programma degli eventi al Teatro del mare domani si apre, alle 11.30, con la presentazione della bellissima mostra “Industria” della fotografa americana Jill Mathis. In esposizione a Palazzo Ducale dal 1 al 30 ottobre, si tratta di un compendio di fotografie realizzate all’interno delle fonderie, con la volontà di riconoscere il valore di una prospettiva artistica sul quotidiano, un incontro tra industria e arte in un contesto diverso da quello utilitario.
A seguire, la tradizionale presentazione della Regata velica “Carthago dilecta est 2011” a cura del Circolo Velico di Ventotene.
Il Salone sarà l’occasione per essere aggiornati sulle molte attività condotte dalla Capitaneria di Porto Guardia Costiera. Domani, alle 14.30 presso il Teatro del Mare, sarà presentata l’anteprima del nuovo spot sul 1530 realizzato da “Pianeta Mare” e presentato da Tessa Gelisio – nuovo testimonial della Guardia Costiera – seguita dal XI edizione del premio “Navigare Informati” del Corpo delle Capitanerie di Porto.
La giornata si chiuderà, alle 17.00, con la presentazione del Giro d’Italia in kayak di Guido Grugnola.
Genovainblu (fuori Salone)
Il programma degli eventi GenovaInBlu sarà inaugurato ufficialmente domani 2 ottobre alle 19 nell’atrio di palazzo Tursi con i saluti dell’Assessore Attività Produttive e Commercio del Comune di Genova, Giovanni Vassallo, del Presidente della Camera di Commercio di Genova, Paolo Odone e del Presidente di UCINA, Anton Francesco Albertoni. Margherita Rubino introdurrà poi la serata che inizierà con uno spettacolo di piano e voce a cura dell’Orchestra del Teatro Carlo Felice, lettura di versi scelti da Caproni, Sanguineti e Montale per chiudere con la spettacolare accensione dell’opera luminosa di Marco Nereo Rotelli dedicata a Genova e al suo mare visto e pensato attraverso le parole di tre grandi poeti genovesi: Eugenio Montale, Edoardo Sanguineti e Giorgio Caproni.
Scie di luce per Genova città dei Poeti – questo il nome del progetto – vuole esprimere una filosofia di luce imperniata su un messaggio poetico che è il dato fondante dell’opera di Rotelli. Per l’occasione, i versi sono stati selezionati da Margherita Rubino per il Tavolo di Promozione della Città ed Erminio Risso. Lungo la via, la lettura delle poesie sarà accompagnata da performances degli artisti lirici del Teatro Carlo Felice.
Nella serata, saranno inoltre inaugurate alcune mostre nei palazzi di Strada Nuova: a Palazzo Rosso, la mostra “Galee, navi e vascelli nei disegni dei grandi artisti” – una selezione di disegni di imbarcazioni di grandi artisti dal XVII al XIX secolo del Gabinetto Disegni e Stampe di Palazzo Rosso.
Palazzo Nicolosio Lomellino è stato invece scelto da Estée Lauder per la presentazione della mostra “Blu di Modigliani”, organizzata in collaborazione con il Modigliani Institute Archives Légales Paris-Rome, che offrirà ai visitatori una selezione di disegni realizzati ad inchiostro blu con interventi ad acquerello che trova nel famoso disegno dedicato a Kiki de Montparnasse l’immagine guida dell’esposizione.
Palazzo Ducale ospiterà l’inaugurazione della mostra “Industria” di Jill Mathis, un’artista capace – attraverso le sue immagini – di restituire dignità e orgoglio al lavoro e all’impresa, mentre a Palazzo Tobia Pallavicino l’Associazione Vela Latina organizzerà una mostra ed una iniziativa bibliografica che saranno completate dall’esposizione di tre barche tipiche della tradizione sarda e ligure, esposte nella vicina Piazza Fontane Marose. Presso il prestigioso showroom Via Garibaldi 12, dedicato all’interior design, sarà inoltre presentato un suggestivo ed originale tributo al mare organizzato in collaborazione con Richard Ginori 1735 dal titolo “Un mare di Porcellana”. La mostra sarà visitabile dal 1 al 15 ottobre.

Il Salone è aperto tutti i giorni dalle 10 alle 18.30. Il Salone è aperto tutti i giorni, fino a domenica 9 ottobre dalle 10 alle 18.30 – il biglietto d’ingresso costa 15 euro; ingresso ridotto a 12 euro, per le comitive composte da almeno 30 persone, i militari, i disabili e per i bambini da 6 a 10 anni: i bimbi fino a 5 anni entrano gratis. Le riduzioni non sono cumulabili con altre iniziative promozionali o di prevendita. I biglietti ridotti sono acquistabili unicamente presso le biglietterie del Salone, situate agli ingressi principali del quartiere fieristico. Servizio bus e parcheggi in città
Il consiglio degli organizzatori è quello di servirsi dei trasporti pubblici .
Amt mette a disposizione un servizio di trasporto potenziato per agevolare l’afflusso dei visitatori alla manifestazione. Si potranno utilizzare:
linea KA servizio navetta da Stazione Principe a piazzale Kennedy in servizio tutti i giorni del Salone dalle 9.00 alle 19.30; linea 10 da Stazione Brignole a piazzale Kennedy in servizio tutti i giorni del Salone dalle 9.00 alle 19.30; servizio bus Lido - piazzale Kennedy in servizio tutti i giorni del Salone dalle 9.00 alle 19.30 in concomitanza con la chiusura di corso Italia quando la zona sarà adibita ad area parcheggio; servizio bus all’interno dell’area portuale tutti i giorni del Salone dalle 9 alle 19.30.
Inoltre, dalla Stazione Brignole si potrà utilizzare la linea:
• Linea 31 (Stazione Brignole - Quarto) che collega piazza Verdi con piazzale Kennedy.
Sabato 1° ottobre, a seguito dell’apertura del Salone fino alle 22.30, il servizio delle linee speciali KA, 10 e bus Lido – Kennedy proseguirà fino alle ore 23.00.

Tutti coloro che parcheggeranno la loro auto presso:
• le Zone Blu della Foce (zone A e B), Albaro (zone L e M compresa tra Corso Italia, via Cavallotti, via Albaro, via Ricci, via Boselli, via Pisa, via Caprera), Carignano (zone D e E) e Centro (zona F);
• le Isole Azzurre comprese nelle zone indicate al punto precedente;
• i parcheggi di Corso Italia e Viale Caviglia predisposti appositamente per l’evento fieristico;
potranno utilizzare gli scontrini giornalieri del parcheggio per raggiungere il Salone Nautico con i bus AMT e ritorno.
Il ticket forfettario giornaliero (scontrino da € 12,00 per vettura e € 18,00 per camper) rilasciato dai parcometri Blu Area abilitati e dagli addetti presenti nelle Isole Azzurre, sarà composto di due parti: una valida per la sosta da esporre sul cruscotto della vettura e l’altra utilizzabile sulle linee Amt per massimo tre persone per il percorso di andata e ritorno verso la Fiera e dovrà essere esibito dal possessore ad ogni richiesta del personale di controllo.
Oltre 6000 posti auto sono disponibili in città e individuabili con una segnaletica ad hoc con il logo del Salone, per l’intera durata della manifestazione sarà destinata a parcheggio la carreggiata a mare di Corso Italia compresa tra via Piave e via Don Minzoni. Corso Italia resterà inoltre chiuso al traffico nella notte tra il 1° e il 2 ottobre per agevolare la sosta dei visitatori della serata speciale di apertura.
Ai camper sono riservati 100 posti in Mura delle Cappuccine e 60 posti in viale Caviglia.
Le tariffe forfettarie, invariate rispetto al 2010, sono di 12 Euro per le auto e di 18 Euro per i camper. La tariffa oraria è di 2,50 Euro nel centro e in zona Foce, 2 Euro in Albaro.

Per chi ha difficoltà a camminare, Fiera di Genova - in collaborazione con Terre di Mare, lo sportello sull’accessibilità e il turismo per le persone con disabilità della Provincia di Genova, e la realizzazione tecnico-operativa della Cooperativa sociale La Cruna – conferma anche quest’anno un ingresso dedicato con biglietteria in piazzale Kennedy e il servizio di accoglienza che mette a disposizione scooter elettrici a quattro ruote e sedie a rotelle per visitare in libertà il Salone. “150 anni di imprese in mare”, la storia della marineria italiana attraverso le immagini
Nautica in cifre, l’industria reagisce e investe nella crescita

Attesi domani Marcello Lippi, Dario Vergassola oltre a Giovanni Soldini, Oscar Farinetti e tutto l’equipaggio di “7 mosse per l’Italia”
Prima domenica di apertura per la cinquantunesima edizione del Salone Nautico Internazionale, in programma alla Fiera di Genova fino a domenica 9 ottobre.
L’inaugurazione della mostra sui “150 anni di imprese in mare” allestita nel piazzale di ingresso del Salone è stata l’occasione per radunare personaggi di spicco della cultura amanti del mare e discutere delle tematiche rappresentate dalle immagini su cui si articola la rassegna.
Secondo il curatore, l’architetto Giorgio Oikonomoy, pochissimi liguri conoscono la realtà dei cantieri, delle grandi navi e delle barche che hanno fatto la storia della marineria italiana, che la mostra vuole invece rappresentare in tutta la loro imponenza. Il professor Ferdinando Fasce ha sottolineato l’interdisciplinarietà del settore navale e nautico, mentre secondo Alessandro Zunino guardando le immagini dei lavoratori e degli ambienti in cui operavano “si sente quasi l’odore del ferro e della fatica” , sintetizzandone con efficacia la forza espressiva.
Il giornalista e navigatore Piero Ottone parlando della tradizione nautica e della cultura del mare del nostro paese ha auspicato che si arrivi a una semplificazione normativa per favorire l’accesso alla nautica del maggior numero di persone, seguendo l’esempio della Gran Bretagna, secondo Ottone il paese di riferimento a livello internazionale.
E’ giunta in mattinata in Salone per una visita privata la vicepresidente del Senato, Rosy Mauro, secondo la quale la nautica è un settore di eccellenza che a volte sconta alcuni pregiudizi e un’informazione distorta.
“E’ un comparto importante, che crea lavoro, e proprio qui in Salone si ha la possibilità di vedere da vicino e apprezzare il grande impegno delle aziende, soprattutto italiane. Credo che sia necessario uno sforzo da parte di tutti per far capire che questi non sono prodotti per soli ricchi. Poi non capisco perché chi compra un camper, per fare un esempio, viene considerato un buon padre di famiglia mentre chi con una cifra identica acquista una barca viene additato come un evasore. Da amante del mare mi da fastidio quando in certi telegiornali si parla di evasione e si fanno vedere immagini di barche ormeggiate nei porti” ha dichiarato la Mauro.
La senatrice ha ribadito le molteplici possibilità di vivere il mare, senza dover necessariamente investire grandi cifre, un concetto caro agli organizzatori e in linea con il dato del Salone, dove il 60% dell’esposizione è dedicato alla piccola nautica.
Si è tenuta questa mattina la presentazione de I numeri della nautica, un’analisi puntuale dell’andamento del settore fotografato dall’Ufficio Studi UCINA, in collaborazione con il Dipartimento di Economia e Metodi Quantitativi della Facoltà di Economia dell’Università degli Studi di Genova, e da Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena.
Gli studi presentati sono stati effettuati con focus differenti: la nautica da diporto nella ricerca UCINA e il segmento navi e le imbarcazioni per BMPS. Più in particolare “La nautica in cifre, analisi del mercato per l’anno 2010”, ha evidenziato i principali risultati conseguiti dal comparto nautico, tra i quali il livello di fatturato e le quote di produzione (export e mercato domestico) e di occupazione, mentre il rapporto elaborato dall’Area Research di BMps ha inquadrato invece in maniera specifica cinque distretti, analizzandone il contributo sull’export e sulla produzione globale, nonché i principali indicatori di performance.
Da entrambe le ricerche si evince come l’export rappresenti la forza trainante degli ambiti analizzati rispetto ad un mercato domestico che soffre di una notevole carenza di domanda.
A commento della presentazione il presidente di UCINA, Anton Francesco Albertoni ha dichiarato: “La forte crescita avvenuta tra il 2003 e il 2008 ha creato disequilibri sia finanziari che di bilancio. La crisi, tuttavia, ha insegnato molto alle imprese del settore che hanno saputo reagire continuando a destinare risorse alla crescita, tanto che le prime analisi relative al 2011 indicano che la discesa si è fermata e che il percorso avviato è quello giusto.”
Ieri sera nel corso della festa serale organizzata per espositori e pubblico nella terrazza del padiglione B sono stati premiati gli espositori presenti al Salone Nautico Internazionale da cinquanta anni, cui è stato assegnato il Barchino d’oro. Le aziende premiate sono state Apel Mar Technology, Edisport Editoriale, Ferretti Group – Riva, Nautica editrice, Orvea, Società Italiana Radio Marittima e Ultraflex.
Trenta secondi per lanciare un messaggio inequivocabile, efficace, facilmente memorizzabile e indirizzato a tutti. Questo in sintesi il nuovo spot della Guardia Costiera per il 1530, il numero per le emergenze in mare, presentato oggi dal Comandante Vittorio Alessandro al Teatro del Mare.
Realizzato a Lampedusa grazie alla disponibilità della redazione di "Pianeta Mare", lo spot ha come testimonial Tessa Gelisio, nota conduttrice televisiva. Tema dominante del filmato le mani, simbolo d'aiuto, forza e solidarietà come Silvia Chiodin, regista del messaggio, ha sapientemente messo in evidenza attraverso immagini significative ed emozionalmente coinvolgenti. Il nuovo spot sul 1530, in onda la prossima estate sulle reti Rai, amplierà la conoscenza di un servizio che, solo nella recente stagione estiva, è stato utilizzato da oltre 17.000 cittadini.
Gli appuntamenti di domani, lunedì 3 ottobre
Il programma convegnistico di domani si apre con il convegno “Nautica e fisco, un patto per la competitività”, organizzato da UCINA Confindustria Nautica alle 10.30 nella sala Mezzanino del padiglione B. La tavola rotonda propone un confronto con le amministrazioni, gli operatori nazionali e internazionali alla luce delle sfide che l’economia globale pone a un settore simbolo del Made in Italy come la nautica da diporto, per consentire all’Italia di mantenere la leadership mondiale conquistata sui mercati e rimettere in moto la domanda interna.
I lavori saranno aperti dall’indagine commissionata all’ISPO del prof. Renato Mannheimer - che offrirà una fotografia sull’uso della barca e sulla percezione che i diportisti hanno dell’approccio dell’Amministrazione Pubblica al settore – e proseguirà con gli interventi di Gianfranco Conte, Presidente Commissione Finanze della Camera dei Deputati, Arturo Betunio, Direttore della Direzione Centrale Normativa dell’Agenzia delle Entrate, Andrea Maria Zucchini, Responsabile Direzione Regionale per la Liguria – Agenzia delle Dogane, Maurizio Lazzaroni, Presidente Assilea, Thierry Voisin, chairman Tax & Laws Commitee del MYBA, Paolo Moretti, Business Manager Yachting Division – RINA, Lorenzo Selva, Presidente ICOMIA. Quella di domani sarà una giornata di grandi personaggi: il Salone ospiterà infatti Marcello Lippi, grande appassionato di nautica, che alle 14.30 incontrerà il pubblico al Teatro del Mare, per parlare di mare, ma anche di calcio.
Sempre al Teatro del Mare alle 15.30 l’attrice Lella Costa discuterà con Giovanni Soldini e Oscar Farinetti dei motivi che li hanno spinti ad affrontare la traversata oceanica “7 mosse per l’Italia” e delle idee per il rilancio che sono emerse durante questo viaggio singolare che ha coinvolto anche molte altre personalità di rilievo del mondo della cultura e dell’imprenditoria.
Seguirà l’intervento “Consumo ittico consapevole: una mossa in più per assicurare il futuro dei nostri mari" organizzato da Costa Edutainment. Su questo tema, l’azienda ormai da anni ha concentrato la propria azione di sensibilizzazione del grande pubblico, proponendo attività in stile edutainment da vivere durante la visita alle strutture e aderendo a campagne e progetti internazionali di promozione di un uso sostenibile delle risorse del mare.
Alle 17 l’equipaggio al completo di 7 Mosse – Alessandro Baricco, Riccardo Illy, Piergiorgio Odifreddi, Antonio Scurati, Marella Levoni, Giorgio Faletti, Luciana Delledonne, Maria Giua, Lella Costa, Francesco Rubino, Guido Falck, Giovanni Soldini, Oscar Farinetti, Matteo Marzotto, Teo Musso, Simone Perotti, Daniel Wintler, Davide Scabin , Moreno Cedroni, Brunello Mario, Beatrice Jacovoni, Oscar Farinetti, Bruno Fieno, Luca Baffigo , Ugo Alciati - visiterà il Salone e infine alle 19.00 il gruppo si sposterà all’auditorium dell’ Acquario di Genova per raccontare al pubblico presente l’esperienza “7 mosse” in tutti i suoi aspetti.
Due gli incontri in mattinata al Teatro del Mare, alle 11 la presentazione del progetto Nordkapp Rib Mission, a cura di Ciuri Ciuri Mare.
A seguire, alle 12, la Lega Navale Italiana presenterà un fitto programma di iniziative ed incontri aprendo “un tavolo di lavoro” sui progetti di promozione sociale, di tutela ambientale, di cultura del mare, derivanti dall’accordo di collaborazione tra Regione Liguria e sezioni liguri della LNI, ratificato il 20 giugno scorso. L’incontro sarà inoltre l’occasione per presentare i Global Games, i Mondiali Inas per disabili intellettivo-relazionali che hanno portato in Liguria 1.200 protagonisti (atleti, accompagnatori e tecnici) da 36 Nazioni, un importante evento sportivo che nel nuoto e nell’atletica leggera assegna i pass per le Paralimpiadi di Londra 2012: 150 ragazzi dei Global Games sfileranno domani in Salone.
Annunciata per domani pomeriggio infine la visita del comico Dario Vergassola.

GenovaInBlu: Oggi l’inaugurazione ufficiale nell’Atrio di Palazzo Tursi
Scie di luce di Rotelli e apertura mostre nei palazzi genovesi
Domani mostra di Paolo Caliari, Gloria Satta e 7mosse per l’Italia
Il programma degli eventi GenovaInBlu sarà inaugurato ufficialmente questa sera alle 19 nell’atrio di Palazzo Tursi con i saluti dell’Assessore Attività Produttive e Commercio del Comune di Genova, Giovanni Vassallo, del Presidente della Camera di Commercio di Genova, Paolo Odone, del Presidente di UCINA Confindustria Nautica, Anton Francesco Albertoni e del Presidente di Fiera di Genova, Sara Armella.
Margherita Rubino, per il Tavolo di Promozione della Città, introdurrà poi la serata che inizierà con uno spettacolo di piano e voce a cura dell’Orchestra del Teatro Carlo Felice che eseguirà “Barcarola” di Offenbach, “Terra e Mare” di Giacomo Puccini e “Soave sia il vento” di Mozart. A seguire, Lisa Galantini leggerà alcune poesie di Eugenio Montale, Giorgio Caproni e Edoardo Sanguineti per chiudere con una selezione di cento versi scelti dalla prof.ssa Rubino dalle poesie dei tre poeti genovesi.
La serata si illuminerà infine grazie alla spettacolare accensione dell’opera luminosa di Marco Nereo Rotelli dedicata a Genova e al suo mare visto e pensato attraverso le parole di tre grandi poeti genovesi: Montale, Sanguineti e Caproni. Scie di luce per Genova città dei Poeti – questo il nome del progetto – vuole esprimere una filosofia di luce imperniata su un messaggio poetico che è il dato fondante dell’opera di Rotelli. Attraverso il colore del mare, Rotelli mostrerà via via nella città la poesia come orizzonte aperto, tra il visibile e l’invisibile, creando un luminoso riflesso dove transita lo stupore.
Nella serata, saranno inoltre inaugurate alcune mostre nei palazzi di Strada Nuova: a Palazzo Rosso, la mostra “Galee, navi e vascelli nei disegni dei grandi artisti” – una selezione di disegni di imbarcazioni di grandi artisti dal XVII al XIX secolo del Gabinetto Disegni e Stampe di Palazzo Rosso che testimoniano lo stretto e storico legame di Genova col mare di cui il Salone nautico internazionale costituisce una moderna conferma.
Nel complesso si tratta di una ventina di immagini di grande fascino, spaccati di un mondo lontano nel quale i grandi e piccoli spostamenti per mare avvenivano su mezzi molto diversi rispetto alle modernissime barche e navi di oggi; attraverso queste immagini, però, si può viaggiare nel tempo, e seguire – ‘sulla carta’ – l’evoluzione della nautica e della stessa progettazione navale nell’antica Repubblica di Genova.
La mostra, curata da Piero Boccardo e Margherita Priarone, sarà visitabile dal 2 al 16 ottobre, dal martedì al venerdì dalle 9 alle 19, sabato e domenica dalle 10 alle 19, lunedì chiuso.
Nell’ambito di un percorso dedicato alla bellezza, Estée Lauder, Profumerie Sbraccia e Studio Medico Lazzari hanno scelto Palazzo Nicolosio Lomellino per la presentazione della mostra “Blu di Modigliani”, organizzata in collaborazione con il Modigliani Institute Archives Légales Paris-Rome, che offrirà ai visitatori una selezione di disegni realizzati ad inchiostro blu con interventi ad acquerello che trova nel famoso disegno dedicato a Kiki de Montparnasse l’immagine guida dell’esposizione.
Dal 3 al 9 ottobre, nei suggestivi ambienti dello storico palazzo, sarà esposta, per la prima volta a Genova, una selezione di disegni di Amedeo Modigliani, realizzati ad inchiostro blu con interventi ad acquerello.
Immagine guida della mostra è il famoso ritratto Kiki de Montparnasse, personaggio tra i più affascinanti nell’ambiente artistico della Parigi degli anni ‘20 del secolo scorso, “la modella” per antonomasia di moltissimi artisti dell’École de Paris, fino ad arrivare a Man Ray. Grazie a Estée Lauder, a fine mostra, il prezioso disegno sara restaurato.
Presso il prestigioso showroom Via Garibaldi 12, dedicato all’interior design, sarà inoltre presentato un suggestivo ed originale tributo al mare organizzato in collaborazione con Richard Ginori 1735 dal titolo “Un mare di Porcellana”. La mostra sarà visitabile dal 1 al 15 ottobre.
Questa sera inoltre l’Associazione Vela Latina inaugura l’esposizione di una ricca selezione della Biblioteca Blu di AVeLa, - raccolta di modelli, quadri, fotografie e cimeli del Circuito ma soprattutto di centinaia di volumi dedicati al mare, alle comunità litoranee e al patrimonio marittimo - sarà esposta nel cuore di uno dei più magnificenti edifici nobiliari dell’antica Repubblica di Genova: il Palazzo Tobia-Pallavicino, di epoca tardo-rinascimentale, attuale sede della Camera di Commercio.
La mostra sarà completata dall’ esposizione di barche tipiche della tradizione sarda e ligure, esposte nella vicina Piazza Fontane Marose.
Palazzo Ducale ospiterà l’inaugurazione della mostra “Industria” di Jill Mathis, un’artista capace – attraverso le sue immagini – di restituire dignità e orgoglio al lavoro e all’impresa. Soggetto della mostra raccoglie immagini fotografiche legate alla ‘nascita’ dei prodotti attraverso un servizio fotografico all’interno delle fonderie, un progetto questa volta slegato da una finalità di mercato, ma motivato esclusivamente dal riconoscimento del valore di una prospettiva artistica sul quotidiano. È un incontro tra industria e arte in un contesto diverso da quello utilitario, che si inserisce in una tradizione, quella della committenza privata per fini privati, che sembrava essersi rarefatto in campo artistico, e che trova un palcoscenico ideale nel contesto di mecenatismo artistico che da sempre caratterizza la storia di Genova.
Alle 21, presso Palazzo della Meridiana, Giglio Group, editore di Yacht&Sail, presenterà – in una festa ad inviti – il Canale Acqua in onda al n.65 del digitale terrestre nazionale.
Domani, 3 ottobre, inaugureranno altre due mostre che animeranno il Palazzo della Borsa in via XX Settembre.
“Linee d’Acqua. Paolo Caliari e la nascita del Mediterranean Style” intende evidenziare il ruolo fondamentale di Paolo Caliari nella storia della nautica contemporanea, focalizzando due particolari momenti della sua lunga carriera. Il primo, legato al periodo pionieristico e all’apogeo della sua produzione, compreso storiograficamente e stilisticamente tra il 1962 e il 1980. Il secondo, riferito agli ultimi dieci anni, dal 2002 ad oggi, legato soprattutto alla realizzazione di superyacht.
Il concept della mostra, storiograficamente ricostruito da Massimo Musio Sale, è incentrato su due sezioni: la prima è relativa al “caso Tiger”, la barca che ha trasformato, come un fulmine al ciel sereno, la nautica a cavallo tra la fine degli anni ’60 e i primi degli anni ’70. La seconda sezione analizza lo sviluppo evolutivo del design di Paolo Caliari, dal riferimento estetico-costruttivo alle imbarcazioni militari, passando per la piena maturità della serie dei Jaguar.
Il mare in tutte le sue declinazioni sarà al centro della mostra fotografica di Gloria Satta “oltreMare”, immagini e parole introdotte da Giancarlo De Cataldo e raccolte nel raffinato catalogo della Maretti Editore. Sfumature, trasparenze, colori, movimenti catturati dall'obbiettivo in varie parti del mondo.
La mostra curata da Marco Delogu e Massimo Di Forti è in programma a Genova al Palazzo della Nuova Borsa, dal 3 al 10 ottobre 2011.
La giornata si chiuderà alle 19, all’Auditorium dell’Acquario di Genova, con l’incontro con l’equipaggio di “I love Barolo”: un navigatore e un mercante, 4 velisti, 3 grandi chef e 15 compagni di viaggio d’eccezione – tra cui Alessandro Baricco, Giorgio Faletti, Matteo Marzotto, Piergiorgio Odifreddi, Antonio Scurati - protagonisti di “7 mosse per l’Italia”, la traversata oceanica da Genova a New York in barca a vela per riflettere su come migliorare l’Italia di oggi. L’introduzione è affidata a Lella Costa, Giovanni Soldini e Oscar Farinetti.
